- Left side: Immediately after had "saliva pouring out hole in neck'
- Drain in place but saliva coming out different spot; with multiple aspirations in postop period
- Given drying agent 'probably glycopyrrolate' and recalls having had botulinum injection
- 2025 Dec Videotelemed Visit
- Continued episodic pain and swelling left parotid tail 5 to 6 times per year
- Episodes last 1 to 4 days, visible to husband - Never treated with antibiotics
- Gets 'yucky taste to saliva'
- Pain at its worst (7-8/10) with swelling short term after surgery required pain meds
- Pain in past year at its worst 2/10
- Continued episodic pain and swelling left parotid tail 5 to 6 times per year
- 2026 April CT
- Report: Mild asymmetric enhancement of the left parotid gland compared to the right. No evidence of abnormal mass or sialolith.
- 2026 May Sialogram
- Area of extravasation that appears to originate from the bifurcation of the main parotid duct into the secondary ducts.
- Areas of mild intraglandular ductal irregularity noted, this is particularly noted inferiorly near the tail
Last episode of swelling Dec 2025; still occasional twinge left parotid tail but no further swelling
