Clinical History

28 year old in snowmobile accident (striking a deer at high velocity) with nasal and laryngeal trauma. Following the collision, he drove himself to a local hospital where progressive loss of voice (coupled with CT findings) lead to intubation and transfer to the U of Iowa where open reduction and internal fixation of the fractured larynx was done along with microdirect laryngoscopy.
