CT images from 2011 (29 years after teflon injection)

Not all teflon injections have unfavorable long-term outcomes. A motor vehicle accident in 1982 with torn aortic resulted in left sided laryngeal paralysis treated with teflon injection to the left vocal cord in 1982. A good vocal result has persisted without change since then.
